His portfolio career has involved over thirty years of consulting in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Australia. He has held senior management and Board appointments in transport and logistics, international trade, publishing, finance, marketing, and information technology; managed activities in both public and private sectors and led a UK business and management faculty. Mal holds a Master of Business Administration, Certified Diploma in Accounting and Finance, Post-Graduate Diploma in Marketing, Bachelor of Business (Organisational Behaviour), Higher National Diploma in Transport Systems, and a Certificate in Education.
He is married and devoted to his four children, enjoys opera, theatre, films, books, travel and his car. He cycles to keep fit and referees rugby union for a real challenge.
